Wesley “BO” Quitta

There are a great number of criteria that influence the selection of a team member that makes such a difference that he/she stands out amongst the rest of a team of great employees.  EDC San Antonio’s employee of the year has met all expectations and exceeded them consistently throughout his 8 years of employment.

Beginning in September 2011, Bo Quitta came on board with EDC San Antonio as a GE Meet the Truck driver.  He was trained in a very challenging role of meeting a semi-truck full of appliances, unloading them in adverse conditions, at times, and delivering all the appliances to a four story building. He not only met the expectation of completing the assigned delivery, he exceeded it daily by anticipating challenges that could occur with the delivery and coming up with a solution to make sure he and his crew made all their revenue for that delivery.  Bo consistently worked well with his team and with the site superintendents to build a rapport of confidence in a job well done and was always requested for every job. EDC needed to clone him.

After six years of running our meet truck deliveries, Bo sustained an injury and was unable to continue his pace of 5 to 7 meet trucks per week.  Bo came into the main office and worked in dispatch in 2016. During that period of transition Bo was able to become the liaison with our crews and our management team.  He took over the role of lead dispatcher and router in no time and worked diligently every day making sure each route is profitable for EDC and the crew. 

Bo Quitta is a real go getter.  He does not shy away from a challenge and has the ability to come up with solutions to a difficult situation.  Bo has had a clean driving record and during his time as a driver, had few claims.  He always strives to put EDC Moving Systems first and to make sure that he represents EDC well when he is out in the field or in the office.

Bo took on a new role in late 2018 with EDC San Antonio, as a sales person.  The first day he was in a tie and long pants was quite a shock.  He is constantly working to improve himself and grow.  He is an asset to EDC Moving Systems here is San Antonio and to the whole EDC family.
