Wendy Helms
Wendy joined EDC in March of 2006. She was hired to be the receptionist but before she could start Wendy was asked to be the New Z Gallerie accounts manager. Since Wendy has taken over the Z Gallerie Account she has made EDC- Houston one of the Top 5 third party vendors for Z Gallerie. EDC-Houston has received numoreous 100% over the past three years from Z Gallerie. During 2008, the warehouse and paper audits done by Z Gallerie, EDC-Houston received a score of 110. This was among the top three carriers in the country. Z Gallerie now calls Wendy on advise of paperwork or warehouse handling. In early 2008, Andrew Bridges, Houston General Manager, asked for a volunteer to do a Driver audit, Wendy jumped to the task. Wendy made up her own form that the branch still uses today and gives a daily report on the driver performance level. Andrew shared this form with the other branches and some of them have adopted the daily use of this audit. Later in the year, Andrew put a special company sales incentive program together. Wendy was the first employee to book a move. Wendy gives a 100% and she always is looking for ways to improve EDC-Houston. Congratulations to Wendy for being the EDC-Houston Employee of the year.
